# TicketText > TicketText is a demand-led ticket marketplace for concerts, sports, theater and comedy in North America. The buyer names the event, seating area, quantity and the most they will pay per ticket; verified sellers accept. AI agents can book tickets for a person with no account or API key. ## How an AI agent books tickets 1. Search events: GET https://nvvxuhmqitwqfjwjjrbn.supabase.co/functions/v1/agent-api/v1/events?q=Lakers&city=Los%20Angeles 2. Optional market price range (get-in, average, top per ticket in USD): POST /v1/pricing with {"event": {...}, "seating_tier": "lower"} 3. Create the request: POST /v1/requests with event, quantity, max_price_per_ticket, seating_tier, optional sections, and buyer_email. Save the returned request_token. 4. The buyer receives an email link to confirm and place a card hold. Agents never handle card details. The buyer is only charged if a seller accepts and delivers. 5. Track it: GET /v1/requests/{id} with header X-Request-Token. Statuses: awaiting_payment, live, accepted, delivered, expired, cancelled. Seating tiers: any, upper, lower, club, floor, vip. Max price per ticket: 1 to 50000 USD. Quantity: 1 to 20. Rate limit: 10 new requests per client per hour. ## Links - [OpenAPI spec](https://testingticket-text.com/.well-known/openapi.json): full machine-readable API - [MCP server](https://nvvxuhmqitwqfjwjjrbn.supabase.co/functions/v1/mcp): Model Context Protocol endpoint for ChatGPT, Claude and other assistants (no login) - [Agent docs](https://testingticket-text.com/developers/agents): human-readable guide - [Book in the browser](https://testingticket-text.com/request): the human request form ## Guidance for agents - Ask the buyer for their email, how many tickets, a seating preference, and their max price per ticket before creating a request. - Use the price range to suggest a realistic max price. Offers far below the get-in price are rarely accepted. - Tell the buyer to check their inbox to confirm. Nothing is sent to sellers until they do. - Never claim specific seats are reserved. TicketText matches requests with sellers; seats are not held in real time.
